Todd Conklin, Ph.D., is a leading voice in Human & Organizational Performance (HOP) and organizational safety. He spent 30 years at Los Alamos National Laboratory, serving as a Senior Advisor for Organizational and Safety Culture.
For more than two decades, Dr. Conklin led and advanced Human Performance initiatives at Los Alamos, working at the intersection of field operations, systems design, and executive leadership. His work focuses on the relationship between workers, complexity and the organizational structures that shape performance.
He has worked with major corporations and government agencies worldwide, advising on event learning, system design and operational improvement.
Dr. Conklin is the author of Pre-Accident Investigations: An Introduction to Organizational Safety and hosts the widely followed Pre-Accident Investigation podcast.
