Stuart King oversees the Energy Institute’s (EI’s) human and organizational factors work program. After completing an MA in Social Anthropology, he joined the EI, where he first supported the Hearts and Minds safety culture program. He now serves as secretary to several EI committees, including the Human and Organizational Factors Committee, the Power Systems Committee and its Energy Storage and Solar Working Groups, and the Learning From Incidents Steering Committee. Within the EI Technical and Innovation team, Stuart oversees the development and publication of industry-good-practice guidance on human and organizational factors, power generation, learning from incidents—including Tripod Beta and the Toolbox platform—and safety culture. His work focuses on producing practical, evidence-based resources that strengthen safety and performance across the global energy industry.
