Name
Safety Talk: Straddling the Line: Managing Benzene and Other Chemical Exposures in Multiple Jurisdictions
Date & Time
Tuesday, April 28, 2026, 11:35 AM - 12:00 PM
Ryan Campbell
Description

Oil and gas fields don't follow provincial boundaries — and neither do the regulatory requirements that come with them. Companies operating across jurisdictions often face a patchwork of occupational health and safety obligations, most notably the upcoming revision to benzene exposure limits in British Columbia.

Our safety talk will cover the proposed changes to the BC benzene exposure limit, practical methods for evaluating and managing worker exposure, and best practices for maintaining exposure limit compliance — whether your operations fall under British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, or other jurisdictions.

We'll also be introducing our new Grande Prairie field office. Established to give our clients a stronger local presence in the region, the office means faster turnaround times for fieldwork and more cost-effective project delivery from Edson to Fort Nelson.
